Why I think religions exist?

I think religions exist because it shows the way different people live, and also what they should and shouldn't believe in. Some people who believe in a certain thing live in countries that have way different religions then they do, but since they are surrounded by that certain religion i think they adapt to it but still have their own individual beliefs and they get used to what their surrounded by and they learn to respect it. Some people find other type of religions kind of weird or even very interesting and i say this because of the way some religions are told to dress or the way they perform they're rituals. I'm not sure if this makes sense or not but i think certain countries have different beliefs because maybe they had someone who they looked up to that passed away who had certain beliefs and they probably decided to carry on their beliefs.

What does it mean to be civilized?


Being civilized can have many meanings to it but to me being a civilized person mainly means to be life settled or to atleast have a well organized life and by that I mean: a person who has a well and steady job, a person who knows and obeys the government and laws, one who is well educated, and being civilized can also be someone who is close with their relatives and has a close relationship with their family. Like I said before, being civilized can have lots of meanings to it but this is some of what being civilized means to me.
